Description
Choco Mint is a 32 year old pegasus mare who lives in Manehattan, and owns and runs a successful ice cream parlour there, and has a second parlour in Canterlot which is run by her good friend and colleague, Lemonberry.

She was originally born in Cloudsdale, and lived there for much of her life, earning her cutie mark when she was dealing with snow clouds when she was ten years old. It wasn't apparent what her mark truly meant at the time, but she eventually took an interest in the manufacture and development of ice cream and milkshakes, and this is now what she devotes much of her life to.

Her mother passed away when she was young, and this has affected her deeply, despite the unconditional love and support from her ex-Guard father, Bronze Kopis. He does worry for his little girl, and does his absolute best to look after her and comfort her when things inevitably go badly.

Physically, Choco Mint is in prime physical condition for a pegasus, being tall, slim, and svelte, with good speed and agility in the air. She has heterochromia, with her right eye being dark brown, and her left eye being a light grey in colour. Despite the obvious connotations to this, she is NOT blind in that eye. Minty regularly changes her mane and tail style, as she likes to remain fashionable and attractive, but she always wears a large red carnation in her mane, by her left ear.

When it comes to her personality, Choco Mint can best be described in one word- unstable. At work, and most of her time in public, she is a picture of professionalism and elegance, but once she has gone home, she is melancholic and anxious. Her working persona is an artificial construct that she relies on to make it through the day. Well, that's what her therapist says anyway. On the whole, Minty is friendly and affable despite her issues.

When she speaks, she has a soft and delicate voice, as is to be expected of a mare like Minty. However, it is noted that when she sings, she has a low and mournful voice. Many of the songs she sings are very emotionally charged as well, often leading to her crying while singing. Choco Mint is a very well accomplished dancer as well, and in her past she performed ballet with a youth troupe. Back then, audiences noted her almost unnatural grace when performing- something that still raises eyebrows from ponies that witness her dancing to this day.

Choco Mint is trying to get to the root of her issues by having regular therapy sessions, as even she can't deny that she has got some deep rooted problems. She hopes that these sessions will benefit her in the long run, and allow her to work past her issues in the future. She has a tendency to run away and cry when things go wrong for her.

She is a heterosexual mare with leanings towards xenophilia, and would love nothing more than to start a family, but thus far she has been very unlucky in love, and her relationships seem to collapse before they really start. She has been through far more heartbreak than she would like to admit, but hopes beyond hope to one day find her own Prince Charming.

She doesn't know why her relationships fall apart like this, only that it has been this way since the day she admitted her feelings to her first crush, and that any relationship she has seems to end quickly, leaving her - and as always, in floods of tears yet again.

Another item of note is that along with her best friend, Frazzle, she is one of the two original founder members of The Damaged Goods Society- an exclusive private support network for mares that are unlucky in love. She is a popular member of the organisation, and with her unfortunate amount of experience in heartbreak, she is a veritable font of advice for members of the Society.

Choco Mint intends to travel to the Crystal Empire, as she has arranged an audience with Princess Cadance herself- she reasons that perhaps they can discuss her relationship woes and come up with a possible solution.

For this one beautiful, but unlucky mare, this is something that couldn't come soon enough.
