Description One kinda fun exercise to do: take an old-ish drawing of yours and try to make it better by painting over it.

It reminds me of a great lesson my art teacher had told me whenever I thought I was done with one of my pieces- there's always something you can add! I'm glad that even someone as skilled as you can still find new things!

That is very very true. Usually when I think that I am done with a piece I take a little break, come back and think again. I will almost always add new things in the end and might repeat the process a few times.

I also heard flipping/mirroring/etc a digital piece also helps a lot to see anything you might've missed otherwise. An actual mirror would also work for physical copies...!

I actually constantly flip my picture as I work! So much that I sometimes even forget what the original orientation was.

That's awesome, but maybe troublesome at times...! Have you ever posted something and realized later that it's been flipped, or are you able to catch it beforehand?
