Description I did this little gif to help myself remembering the basic proportions I use to construct the female body cause you know, I often get confused as I draw and I thought I'd lay down these basics in hope that it could improve my workflow and help me draw faster. I decided to share if that can be helpful to other people as well!

It is based off the classic 1/8 approach but with a slightly bigger head for a more comic/animu style; this is also convenient because that helps me to easily place the AXIS of the shoulders and thighs (I emphasize on the axis because these shoulders and thighs get wider as I flesh out the skeleton to draw the body)

The order goes this way: basic stick-figure (blue lines above), main shapes (green lines) and fleshing-out (red lines). This last step is based off the overall understanding of anatomy one can have so I encourage you to study this! Might sound boring but this is really going to help you out. And hey, you even get to see boobies in an educational way.

Talking about this I've also JUST ordered the Master of Anatomy book and I can't wait to have it in my hands

Hope it helps!

Hello, I've just found your art. This is a nice study. I help run an art reference blog called anatomicalart.tumblr.com We have over 30,000 followers, and I was wondering if we could post some of your studies on our sight (properly credited, and sourced back to you)? We have worked with many artists in this way before, and studies such as yours have always helped our followers to improve their art skills. Please let me know.We will not post your content without your permission.

For some reason, I get bionicle vibes looking at this XD
maybe it's how the skeleton and all that goes together in terms of order?

Haha maybe!
Actually, thinking of the body as robot parts as you draw can help too, at least to block the shapes

well, I'm not much of an artist,
I prefer to write, but I do like to say my opinions, even
