Description Rex has adapted well to domestic life in the park, his brilliant winter plumage has all but disappeared due to the high temperatures here at the park. His rescue as an infant has allowed visitors a much closer look at him, though we still must apply all security measures to a an avepod of his magnitude. He and his mate Regina have parented 3 clutches of eggs during their stay with nocturnal retrieval for their eggs. The eggs of course are shipped to other facilities and parks for their own tyrannosaurs. One day, however we will keep a clutch, with the hopes that we may have the young to replace their parents, however this will be farther down the road, a good 50 years from now. We base this premise on the fact that we expect both Rex and Regina to live double they would in the wild, here in captivity.

Nice use of musculature.  However, I'm more into the "feathered adult" bandwagon.  Here's my reason:

We have recently found evidence that a dinosaur's respiratory system is incredibly similar to a bird's.  A bird's air sacs not only make for more efficient breathing, but they also double as a cooling system.  So for a naked Tyrannosaurus to have avian air sacs will make any change in temperature, no matter how minor, an uncomfortable sensation.  As far as the big killers are concerned, a plumage as clean as a penguin's or a corvid's has more to do with stability than heat-gaining.
