The cries for help continued to echo down the long dark hallways. She had intentionally wounded the young human warrior to cripple him so he would have to be rescued. It would only be a matter of time before his friends would come to his aid.
This is what she was hoping for. she would pick them off one by one as they tried to help him. Once they where all dead she would then and only then end his misery.
