Krampus has caught this little fella today in our backyard. My grandma told me about it and how Krampus was pawing and even carrying it in her mouth so I hurried outside only to find Krampus desperately trying to find her prey in the grass. The sand lizard (Lacerta agilis) she caught was only half a metres in front of her, prefectly camouflaging himself on the ground. I've managed to catch it before Krampus would find him again, take some photos and let him free far away from my cat (if there is such a thing as a prey far enough from her...). I expected him to bite my fingers (I've had some do so in the past) but he didn't and calmly let me save him. Luckily he had no visible wounds (didn't even leave his tail) and ran away under the bush I left him. Gorgeous little boy, I hope he will manage to avoid Krampus xD
