Buy the ArtworkThis took way too long, and it's a rather dull image, composition-wise, but it's fine, because now I finally got to try what it's like to make a YouTube-video: youtu.be/JbXxVgB3WQg
And so it begins. The video itself runs way too quick and it doesn't really know if it's a tutorial or a simple speed-paint video, poor thing - but it's a start.

I really like the way Lady is portrayed here.
I like the way the face is, the eyes fall with the muzzle correctly. Also, the ears are placed correctly for the breed Lady is.
I like how her moth is open, showing her happiness.
The nose needs a more prominent curve for the nostril, but other than that, it looks fine to me.
I really like how where the tag is on Lady's collar, you can see the wight on the collar.
Another part I like is the few strands of fur going over the tag, giving the fur a more realistic look.
I really like the dark background, where the light is highlighting the dust particles in the air.
Overall this is a great piece of artwork!

I love the way you made this, your technique seems very professional with the shading and lighting! The character is very expressive and looks sweet and I love how the fur shines. It has a smooth and sillky look. There are some things to improve though, I think the bounceback light on the back of the dog could be a tiny bit more blue-ish and also I find the edges a bit too blurry but it is just a personal preference. I think that, based on your skills, you should try out new styles for the character because like this it is not really original. I say so because you look like a professional judging by your technique and you would need to challenge yourself. Drawing a character as in the movie is for very beginners I think and you are capable of doing a more original work and show us what others don't see. All in all this is a fantastic piece of work where I miss the hint of your own touch so I give a low originality for this but I still love this artwork! Keep up the good work!
