Description
So remember when I said I was on a Granrodeo high? ... yeah. This is actually something I've wanted to do for a while but never really got around to/bothered finding refs for and whatnot.

In case you're unfamiliar with these guys (which is probably most of you), it's Taniyama Kishou (Kishow) and Masaaki Iizuka (e-Zuka), vocalist and guitarist of the epic band GRANRODEO . Seriously check them out they're amazing.

LONG ART TALK IS LONG
This was one of the rare pieces in which I learned something at every step of the drawing process. At the sketch stage, I discovered that Kishow has a facemole (that thing is like a ninja it is so freekin' hard to see) and gangsigns are wierd. Also that Kishow's hair changes with ridiculous frequency so it was hard to decide which style to draw. For inking, I learned to MAN UP and just do the lines in ink, seriously it looks way nicer if it's done that way and you can photoshop out any mistakes. And for coloring, I learned how to make hair highlights (I am never doing that again orz) and the magic of textures.

For reference for the pose I used the end of this short video . Because the black would have made shading difficult, I stuck e-Zuka in the flowery shirt from his website bio (turns out that made everything harder orz). Then I simply couldn't help myself and put Kishow in something resembling Kittan 's outfit. My one regret is that I don't think I captured either of their smiles the way I wanted to (E-Zuka's smile is so nice ;A; ) but I think it's passable anyway.

... yeah I think that's all I have to say, other than I spam-listened to them all day while drawing this @_@
