I know I said I wouldn't have time for art for a while, but I actually ended up with less work than I thought (or, I just decided to procrastinate on the long-term stuff. I'm gonna hate myself for that later)

Been meaning to draw my Reshiram and Zekrom gijinkas for a while
Character rants:
Zekrom (Ebony) is definitely the fighter of the two. She’s brave and bold, striking first in battle and not afraid to step into a conflict if need be. She’s well-suited for physical combat and wears thick armor. She wields her tail (“Thor”) in battle, but due to its difficult shape she uses it more as a melee weapon than a sword. She can also spin it and use it as a drill-like weapon, but that’s harder to pull off. As for long-range attacks, she can shoot bolts of lighting from Thor, but they’re hard to aim and short-lived. Only Ebony can lift Thor off the ground: for her it’s like waving around a baseball bat, but for anyone else it would be like trying to lift an anvil.

Seeing scantily-clad female Zekrom gijinkas just grinds my gears, for whatever reason. I wanted to make my Zekrom gijinka less fanservicey and more badass-y. Zekrom's design reminds me of a gargoyle or a suit of armor, so I wanted to keep that sort of medieval feel. Hence the Saber look . Also, I used this figure for pose reference.

I have a Reshiram gijinka piece sketched out, but it's not as good and/or exciting. Might redraw it before I get to coloring.
