Capitalism raises everyone's standard of living... it's an agreement between two parties for exchange of goods & services. deviantArt is capitalism - you pay a premium for a better service (no ads, enhanced features) though you are not obligated to do so - the premium members allow the others to join for free. No economic system is perfect but Capitalism is the most moral. I think you're talking about corruption - maybe focus on that. You're a good artist - shame your work is misguided...
What's ironic about your picture is that in Socialist Paradise Venezuala right now the people would willingly eat that wad of cash to survive another day... no need to hold their mouth open & force it in...

Why have an economic system at all? Their work is not misguided at all, it is misunderstood. Long before money was invented, long before trade was invented, well before ownership was a thing and materialism ETC, humans lived in large groups where they all worked together for the good of the group.
There are still people across the world that do not have currency or a trade system, they are tribes that simply exist and survive together.
What I believe is misguided are people that do not understand that humans are animals, and we could very easily live like Gorillas, wolves or any other social group animal, with no sense of ownership or of wealth. Simply wake up each day and do what we need to, to survive to the next day.
Think of he lyrics from John Lennon's song Imagine. That is what I believe this artist is trying to get across with much of their art and messages.
Also socialism only works if everyone buys in to it world wide, because the people in America/Britain/Europe are not working for the good of the people in Venezuela they suffer, because global economy holds them down. If we were all working for the good of mankind as a whole without prejudice and not just ourselves then socialist ideals would work.
Plus I doubt he is trying to change the world with his art, but simply to make people stop and think about some of the things that happen in the world that are less than pleasant and that we all ignore because we are safe and happy in our own little bubble. So I would argue work like this is incredibly important so that people do not live their life blind to the plight of others. Maybe it hurts to see or is upsetting to see but it must be seen so we can remind ourselves we as a species have not hit perfection and there are still many ills in our society that we should look to address.

"Imagine" is one of the dumbest, morally bankrupt songs ever written... Soviet communism outlawed religion, stole possessions & swallowed up countries - their goal was for the "world to be as one", under communist rule - the exact blueprint of that idiotic song. Millions slaughtered & sent to gulags... The horrors of communism/socialism are proven over & over yet many refuse to learn... my wife & family escaped the soviet union... they also despise "Imagine".
Why does a religious capitalist country like the USA provide more charity across the globe than any other country - certainly more than communist USSR, China or North Korea... I don't know of any atheist missions to poor countries but plenty Judeo/Christian ones... USA has been the most effective at relieving poverty, providing assistance & eradicating disease - compliments of voluntary free market capitalism. Why not follow that model if you care about the plight of others?

Also, you know very little about the situation in Venezuela if you claim global forces are behind their destruction (instead of strongarm socialist policies of Chaves/Maduro) . A song cannot be bankrupt, what people do with words or a message is on the people. The idea behind the words of imagine are to drop everything, not to move to communism or fascism. The idea behind the words are to live in peace without the bullshit hang ups humans have about a stupid fucking book and their imaginary friend in the sky. Without people needing to buy dumbass over priced coffee in order to feel important or a part of society.
The song requires EVERYONE to believe the same thing, not just a few. If everyone on Earth followed the words then there would be no greed and no corruption. The issue is not the lyrics or the sentiments within the song, the issue is that some people are too fucking dumb or greedy to realise that their bullshit little middle American lives mean fuck all. The concept goes beyond communism, fascism and anything else that the words may have been used to support.
People are just too fucking dumb to realise they are a shitty, pathetic little animal, an insignificant spec on a giant rock floating in a cold dark vacuum who's ultimate end will be to be a lightless cold baron place. We don't need to follow any system that currently exists, we don't need any system at all....we could all just wander around without a society, without rules, without anything.
All governments under any guise are immoral and deplorable, America's being one of the worst in the world. The president no matter whom they are, are run by the NRA and the oil/gas/coal magnates.
America provides more charity across the world than any other country...I hope you have evidence that proves that, because that sounds like conjecture to me. You don't know of any Atheist missions to poor countries...and you have the gaul to call other people dumb. Christians have only ever taken oppression to other countries in their "crusades".
In the U.K alone there are literally thousands of registered charities that provide Aid across the globe and the largest % of them have no religious ties, affiliations or connections to christians or any people of any faith.

There are no benefits to an economic system, and this is where I am really going to call you dumb. You have grown up and understand the economic system that is in place. You are a slave to it and can't see a way out of it and you have stockholm syndrome. There is literally no need for money, there is no need for 40' TV's, there is no need for shit expensive coffee, ETC, ETC. Consumerism just keeps you compliant and rich People rich and poor people poor.
That doesn't mean I support communism, fascism or dictatorships. In fact I have not expressed a personal opinion at all. I am simply stating a fact that humans existed before money and could exist again without it. The fact you can not see beyond your little world is testament to the systems power.
Tribal warfare happens because people are greedy and want more, people always want more, if everyone was just satisfied with what they had Britain wouldn't have an Empire and America would be run by native people and not a bunch of immigrants. There is little reason to go to war or fight other than to take what belongs to someone else by force. Also if you don't think we don't still live in tribes...you are really lying to yourself or just plain ignorant.
There are in this day an age still tribes in the world and they live in peace, without warfare or any conflicts. They certainly don't threaten the destruction of all species on Earth with the threat of nuclear war.

You also struggle with the idea that not having capitalism doesn't instantly mean communism. Stop fighting the cold war my man...it's over. Plus you seem to fail to understand how global economy works, whilst you can blame individual parties or groups for the state of a country or region, it is the rest of the world that supplies an arena wherein it is beneficial to be this way. The big businesses of America, Europe, ETC move their businesses and their production to poorer parts of the world in order to get cheap labour and make more money. By paying these people nothing they are not able to better themselves and their governments are not forced to change. If all the coffee pickers in Africa or South America were paid a wage similar to that of a Barista in New York, which is still an awful wage, these people's lives would change. Instead countries like America and global economy represses these countries and hold them down.
So you can shut your eyes to the world which you help create but it doesn't make it any less true, but whatever helps you sleep at night.

Thank you! We have too many anti-capitalist idealists that believe a magical unicorn and rainbow filled utopia is just over the horizon if they can just get rid of capitalism. Capitalism isn't perfect, no system is, but it allows the freedom of self determination and that is like breath itself to those not privileged enough to be born with it so they can now take it for granted and call their ignorance art like many on here do.
