sooo surreal and compelling. the tongue is just stunning, how did you get that sort of starry depth look?

Well, i first put a solid layer of blue on the tongue, then shaded that, then used the airbrush tool to make soft fuzzy galaxy glows, then i made a bunch of stars, painstakingly and individually, with different sizes and opactities. it takes a long time but it's really fun.
