I still need to do that art project.Just a quick thing, I haven't done a head shot for soooo long
Also I experimented with giving Lozzy more feral eyes, but they're probably not permanent. Also the first time I've ever given Lozzy a negative emotion.The steam is part of her element. She is a water dragon and therefore can manipulate water, as well as its temperature. So what you see here is steam rising from her mouth.
I couldn't think of anything for the background...

I love the feral eye approach, it makes the dragon look so much more alive and human! Anatomy is perfect as always but one thing I had to comment on was the steam. When I saw the picture, I thought for sure it was lightning until I looked at the title. Steam usually looks like white smoke, and is less defined, unlike lightning. Since this is a critique, I would've liked to see more out of the background. I think I can make out some slits of black in the blue background but I can't really tell. However, the focus is supposed to be the steam so the bg doesn't matter too much. Besides, the darker bg brings out the steam!

the eyes just look a little more human, making it look more like a character rather than a beast. You know how in cartoons when background wild animals just have empty black eyes? Well animal main characters with more human eyes are identified as more important and character...if it that makes sense ^^'
As for feral, it means wild or existing in the wild. I don't know why I put the adjectives human and feral together...whoops. I'd definetly reword that to just human eyes rather than feral. Sry!
