"Blood Moon" A journey in the extreme over the top fantasy style retouching..... original image was shot with a 10 year old 1.3 mp camera which is crap, it's a self portrait and that camera was balanced on a shoe box on top of a table and I leaned as close as I could to a florescent tube light in a otherwise totally darkened room and I wasn't wearing any makeup... Yes I own a fantastic pro camera and a tripod and all the goodies to go with it but the point of this exercise was to improve my skills so I did everything the hard way on purpose just to see if I could make something wonderful from something crap, I think it turned out rather well all things considered it and was excellent practice.
