The white one has a Porsche 914-4 2 liter engine, little bit tuned with about 150hp
The red one has a beetle engine tuned to 2 liter, about 150 hp.

That's impressive. When I was a teen, I owned a '65 Beetle powered by a 1200cc 4-cylinder . . . not exactly a "Babe Magnet" if you know what I mean.

Even though it was slow, it was a fun car to drive, especially in the snow. I had a couple friends who owned VWs, so that gave us a bond.
