Description
Finally I finished this mixed media drawing (colored pencil, marker, multiliner, white ink) of Loki (Tom Hiddleston). I'm very happy with the result, but my scanner killed the sky a little bit (it doesn't like the color blue + stars and adds weird lines, so it looks much better on paper)... I hope that you like it as well! That's the first time that I tried to combine so many reference pictures to create something new. I really like to draw details, but I think that I have to add a point to my "never draw this again list": Asgard (especially the city and the Bifrost / rainbow bridge)
Update: I tried to edit/rescue the colours with Photoshop. Looks still much better on paper. I'll try to edit the sky later...
Update2: I replaced the scan with a photo. Sky looks better and skin contrast + colors are more realistic and it looks more like the actual drawing (still not perfect).

Thor 2 spoiler: At the end of Thor 2 Loki is alive, disguised as Odin on the throne of Asgard and the Tesseract is in Asgard, too. So I think this could be a movie poster for Thor 3. That's why I wanted to add fire and ashfall to the sky at first. This would fit to Ragnarök. I really hope that they announce the movie release date soon... By the way: I drew him with short hair, because I prefer it and I don't want to believe that they have no hairdressers in Asgard!

I used many reference pictures: screencaps of the movies "Thor, 2011" (short Loki hair), "The Avengers, 2012" (Tesseract/blue cube + armor in deleted scenes) and "Thor The Dark World, 2013" (2x Asgard sky, lower part of Gungnir/golden staff), a Thor 2 movie poster (Odin with Gungnir), a Thor 2 promo picture/still (Asgard) and a photo of Tom Hiddleston as Loki on Comic Con (SDCC 2013)

Tools: Paper DIN A4 (= 210mm x 297mm) 190g/m²,
- >90% Faber-Castell Polychromos artists' colour pencils,
- Faber-Castell pencils HB (for the "sketch") + Faber-Castell Perfection 7057,
- Copic Ciao marker,
- Copic Multiliner SP 0.03 and Edding 1800 profipen 0.1,
- uni-ball Signo pigment ink um-153 white
