this was an anthro design i made of one of my lil adopt species (the bloppa) thats been sold on kaylune to the user ambrose!! i still wanted to post here tho cause i liked how it came out ehehehheΒwhile my tiny adopt species are currently limited to kaylune, i may do some more anthro designs of them like this that can be auctioned here!!Β
i guess theyre technically closed species since i dont want people making their own of them ( i have a business 2 run
) i'm pretty loose w the rules if anyone happens to own one tho (my only solid rule is basically dont make your own designs of them hhahA)!! so yea, there may be more of these in the future!!

I still adore this design, I wish I had gotten the cash together to buy it myself (dad said no to lending me the money, haha). I'm still glad someone AB tho, bc this design is worth it. <3

And oooh! I'd love to see more designs, especially anthro ones (whether adoptasmalls or not, haha) b/c I don't think I have any anthro characters and it's something I'm kind of interested in getting into but at the same time I'm super picky about it, haha.
I love the alien cats (bloopa kitty included) & robo mouse you have but tbh I just really love all your art, haa.
[and seriously, idk if I told you this again or if you saw me talking about it in the SB on kaylune, but thank you so much for taking the time to explain your feeling on the adoptables situation. I know I had gotten carried away and it was a major slap-in-the-face reminder that y'all adopts artists are all people too and that the arbitrary values others put on your art means something and can hurt your feelings... ...that sounds terrible. how do I word this... uh... It's like: It's easy to forget that the people making adopts aren't just machines churning them out to make quick cash, that y'all are artists who put a bit of yourself into all your work, just like any other artist, and that you have some level of emotional attachment to each adopt you make. That even if you didn't have the emotional attachment, that the value you put on one person's work over or under another's can be hurtful, especially in a trending/mob mentality. That people's actions and reactions literally effect others, especially the artists, regardless of whether or not you broadcast it or are super dramatic vs. super subdued about it (I say that b/c like.. when ppl are in physical pain, others are more likely to pay attention and believe them when they're wailing and crying -- a valid response sometimes, but they tend to dismiss ppl who don't show that they're in pain like that. So similarly, some ppl might not know that artists are hurt unless they see them specifically being super upset about it, if only b/c they can't read the signs. And that doesn't make the artists' hurt any less valid, just some ppl like me are super dense).
so yeah, sorry for the wall of text but it was a much needed reality check for me and I feel like I can appreciate everyone's adopts on and off kaylune on a much better level now. and feel free to send me a kick in the ass via PM on kaylune or note on here if you see me going back to my hoarding ways or if I do something to upset you. c: ]

also on the adopt stuff!! i'm happy that you were able to see that! i think its definitely more rewarding (for both the adopt creator and the adopters heheh) when an adopt is kept and loved by a single owner, and not valued more or less next to others! that does seem a lil hard for a lot to grasp (the urge to hoard adopts is vry strong and hard to resist LOL) but its definitely somethin worth sitting back and thinking about, and im very happy that youve taken the time to do just that! 0:
kaylunes situation with adopts is pretty unique honestly, its very strange to get used to / try to manage the mass trading that goes on hahha cause ya i cant rly speak for everyone, but i know i for sure get attached to almost every adopt i make, andΒ the biggest push for me is wanting all the adopts to go to good permanent homes :'3
