Alternative title: the one were everything is shiny.psdi have too many AU ideas but i want people to write them so i keep drawing! but this one is Pre/War AU where Asriel, Chara and Frisk are all alive for the war. Asriel is still the prince, Chara is the human orphan he made friends with in secret (his parents totally know and worry but don't see much harm a child can do when they make their son so happy) and he gives Chara his spare/old clothes and sneaks out to see them. Frisk is Intro Humans younger sibling and lives in the human village. intro Human doesn't like/is afraid of monsters and what they can do and is trying to help protect their people and Frisk loves them but thinks that fighting the monsters is wrong (not that they say that, the first time they try their sibling got so upset and worried Frisk thought they were gonna be sick. they never bring it up again). somehow the three meet and become good friends (siblings) and worry together about the coming war that their respective family is preparing/protecting them from.
be all and end all is that these three are the ones that made the barrier to try and stop the fighting. the never meant to seal the monsters underground for generations, they just wanted the separate the two races so they couldn't fight. and i know the delta run is in the intro but this is an AU so i say it came from the magic they used to make the barrier.

I actually didn't realize that the boss monster in the intro has the Delta Rune until just now! Why do you suppose they had that symbol even before they were sealed underground?

So did Chara and Frisk end up inside the barrier? Could make a kinda sad scene with Frisk and her sibling trying to communicate through the barrier

I Love this picture, it really works with a theory I had about the Delta Rune!
Gerson tells you that the Delta Rune Symbolizes a Prophecy that an angel that has seen the surface will descend upon the underground and either bring Freedom or Death to all Monsters (Depending on whether you play True Pacifist or Genocide).

The Symbol depicts a pair of Angel Wings over three Triangles which could be interpreted as 2 humans and 1 Monster: Frisk, Chara, and Asriel of course. All three of them are the Underground's angels, but Gerson specifies that it is a particular kind of angel, The Angel of Death and there just happens to be 3 archangels of death.
Asriel shares his name with the first archangel of death, so it's a very clear connection.
Frisk could be associated with Samael who's seen as both good and evil, much like Frisk depending on the actions of the player could be the hero of the underground or destroyer.ย
Lastly Chara could be associated with Azazael who's been called "The Scapegoat" and Chara has become the misunderstood scapegoat of the series, with people pointing blame on them as an evil murderer and Demon. Chara may have called themselves a demon but Asriel calls himself the "Absolute God of Hyper Death"

cool pre war AU! This would make alot of sense as to why only children would be able to pass the barrier and why it was children souls they were collecting. Because it was a group of three children who made the barrier!

Wow, that is really cool. I like it! So instead of the magicians, it's the kids who sealed the barrier just so that both races wouldn't fight each other. Huh, if the kids were born before the war..... there's gonna be some interesting things going on here.
