Just a quick photomanipulation of the second newest addition to the team, Nediira. She's not had her own portrait drawn or photomanipped yet (she's only ever been in drawings with the other characters so far, which is a shame given what a major character she's turning out to be.The original photograph was "Dreads 8" [link] by

Yeah! ^_^ Thanks Katie! I still haven't decided exactly how Nediira wears her hair...dreadlocks or braids...but I thought I'd try the dreads angle with this 'un.

Drow, alas, tend to have that sort of effect...
What I actually did colour-wise was fiddle with the saturation of the skin, greying it out, then paint it darker over the top, un-blond her hair, and blue her eyes (by completely re-painting them on)

Yeah...and without my graphics tablet, having to re-paint her skin with a mouse, it went wobbly about twice.

I like it, looks hand drawn and has a very dark look about it
