OK! It's really quite tricky trying to co-ordinate groups on DA so I'm going to try something new. I'm going to keep this image updated with everyone who is currently signed up for the group. I'll also keep this image up on our main DA page so if you ever want to check back for updates just click :tailored-illusion: and it'll right in front of your nose!STARTING TO GET SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS GROUP!

OK my peeps. Next year is the release of the last Harry Potter film EVER! We all know Harry has been a very VERY special part of our childhoods and it deserves to be celebrated in the way we cosplayers do best…
I’m organising an en-masse Harry Potter cosplay group. I want to get as many of the main characters as possible and I want this to be the biggest and best Harry Potter group of ALL time!
DETAILS:
The final film is going to be released on the 15th of July… A Thursday night midnight screening not very convenient for most of us workers/students… HOWEVER SMASH is on that Saturday the 16th which means many AWESOME cosplayers will be converging on Sydney…
SLIGHT CHANGE OF PLANS
I PROPOSE that our GIANT group of awesome meets at Sydney Uni* we were originally going to picnic but with this amount of people and the difficultly of organising who brings what food/carrying containers/blankets for the rest of the day the picnic has now changed to an excursion to Hogsmead/The Broadway shopping center food court just across the road! Lunch will be followed by A GIANT photoshoot around Syd uni, from there we can travel into the city to watch the film together in all our costuming glory.
*(Why Syd Uni? Because it is the Syd equivalent of Hogwarts – gargoyles, old castle-ish building, lake and all)

HOW TO GET INVOLVED:
I’ve organised one other group over the net… we had about 15 people drop out on us. It was really really disappointing and I can’t let it happen again. Here are the rules if you want to play a major character:
• If you are a friend of this DA you are most welcome to play any character in this group.
• If either Mel or I don’t know you personally you need a mutual friend who does know one of us to vouch for you.
If you know/don’t know us and just want to rock up in costume but not playing any particular character you are most most welcome! These precautions are in place so we can get as many of the main cast as possible.
So if you want to join please leave us a message and recruit any HP loving friends you have! This is the last film – we need to make it BIG!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh I have a death eater mask you can borrow if you like? It's based on the books though not the film... here it is: [link] Hmmmmm but if you want to base it on the movie versions I would make it from plaster bandages - that's how we made masks in after school care... ^-^ Really cheap and pretty fast for a mask that fits your face perfectly! Good luck! Can't wait to see your costume!

Well I've half-made one but if I don't have it done in time, it'd be great if I could borrow yours~ I figure the main thing I have to make is the cloak though, everything else can kinda be cobbled together hahaha. I'm running out of time though Dx
