Neither do I, but still... it's just that almost EVERYONE knows so you gotta know it too to understand people around the Net. Though it isn't that necessary if you're just communicating in social networks (facebook alike). But if you're part of some big community (like bronies are) you just have to learn those things (e.g. google them, why not?).

I am a brony but all the rules is confusing yet I know some of them
