Real good story. I can definitely see what April had to probably endure when it comes to ninja training. The reality is, ninja training is never easy. Nothing in life is. What seemed easier than high school turned out to be just as hard, if not worse.
April certainly learned her lesson after duking it out with Raph. I wouldn't do it unless I had a "death wish".

Oddly enough, I think that Raph would have admired that move. "Whatever it takes, I'll see you in hell, sucker" is pretty much his guiding strategy too.

I really love the way you portray April here. My only complain (albeit minor) with the new series so far is that April seems a bit lacking in development/personality. If we could have an episode like this, I'd love her so much more.

April's lack of character development is the only real problem I have with the show, too. That's why I keep doing fan works about her, to try and fill in the gaps that the show keeps leaving open. Hopefully they'll let April have her day in the limelight soon!

Glad I'm not the only one. It's just.. the other characters are so well developed - I can even think of small interesting character traits that minor characters have, but with April we've seen so little. I would freaking love to see a portrayal of April like your's, it would just make the series complete for me.
