Does anyone know how to fight master core?

The actual core at the end? That one just needs to be heavily damaged. Everything else is good dodging

Master Core can only be battled if theΒ IntensityΒ set to 5.1 or higher. On theΒ 3DSΒ version, Master Core only appears if the player chooses to take the black path to fight both Master Hand and Crazy Hand at the end of Classic Mode; at Intensity 8.0 and above (or 9.0 in the Japanese version of the game, there is no option except the black path. On theΒ Wii UΒ version, players will always encounter Master Core as long as they meet the Intensity requirement. -Β www.ssbwiki.com/Master_Core

This reminds me of the time I had to do all of Master Core's forms on Intensity 9.0. It was very hard, and I had to redo the battle a lot, but I finally managed.

The art style is beutiful as always. But now that you've done Master Core, think you'll do any other bosses in the same vein as this one? With Ridley not being a character and all, I was hoping to see him eventually. But, whatever you choose to do is fine. Keep up the good work, you make a lot of people happy with these, myself included ^-^

One day I might. Though after the release of the Fortress version of Master Core and not realising there was a Giant form, I'm probably going to scrap this and make new ones.
As for Ridley, I don't know yet. If I draw him I'll have to draw the Yellow Devil and that boss on the Xenogears stage and every other boss. And I might. But right now that's something in the distant future

Well, here's a tip. Only fight him with a character you're good at. Preferably one that can already deal plenty of damage and is a heavyweight. And it's best to do the "easier" version by going on an intensity between 5.1 and 5.5 on Classic. Any higher, and you're in for a nightmare. Trust me.

The most I've been playing was Pac-Man, with his custom Down-B (Dire Hydrant).
...screw it, I'll just download the "Master Core" music that you unlock.

I know, right? All that trouble just for a dumb music track? Not even a freakin' trophy or something valuable. Glad I beat him, so I won't have to do it again. And if a challenge wants me to beat him on a high intensity, I'll just use the "Fuck It" adjustment.

HighRollerHydra In reply to uberfrill14 [2014-11-02 00:37:39 +0000 UTC]
One problem: some of the challenges won't let you use the Golden Hammer (like beating Master Core on Page 2 of Challenges, or beating Classic on 9.0 or above on Page 3...come to think of it, why the hell would it say "or above" when 9.0 IS the highest?!).

Yeah, it's Brawl all over again, and most likely it'll happen again in the Wii U version (where Challenges are even trickier).

Ooooh love the stained glass theme you've been doing with these ( I actually took the time to look at some of the others you've done because of this one.) Found out about this boss awhile ago and while I like the concept and fight as a whole, the sword form just pisses me off (it's ironic that the form that's first seen on the easier difficulties is the cheapest and most difficult one to fight.)
π: 0 β©: 1
Werewolfwrath In reply to Quas-quas [2014-10-12 16:15:58 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, and it wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have to fight the other forms, and the Hands (even if it is short) all on two stock, plus getting bumped down some difficulty if you lose (that certainly makes trying to go for a 9.0 intensity run really hard)

I found that Classic Mode is easier with custom characters with Strength equipment. Managed to own Master Core with a beefed up Ganondorf

Oh I know. Though with me (don't know if anyone else does it this way) I assign certain customizations to the different outfits of the characters, such Mario in his Fire Mario colors with high speed and more explosive attacks, or a beefed up Meta Knight with the colors of Galacta Knight from Superstar Ultra. Most recently I've been playing with Link in his Fierce Deity attire with his attack stat nearly maxed out. Fun be had.

My theory on Master Core. After Tabuu's defeat, Master Hand took the entirety of Subspace into his own being to prevent Tabuu from ever returning. But that had a side effect of the energy of Subspace reacting with his own Smash Power, merging with it. When Master Hand has taken enough damage, the combined energy literally rips him apart. Despite his good intent, Master Hand inadvertently created something far worse than Tabuu, something ancient, something primal.

SuperMafia In reply to Kiranta [2014-11-01 15:27:36 +0000 UTC]
From what I've heard, Master Core is literally Master Hand's ultimate form. The moment he knew he was going to get defeated, he transforms from his stable hand form to a form of absolute darkness and the apex of unstability has formed into different forms that we can comprehend. Only after destroying your shadow do you discover Master Core's true form: a spherical core. Here's my theory: Master Hand is actually half the Master Core. Crazy Hand has the other half, but at a low difficulty, they will not combine to reform the Core into one. Only at Higher difficulties does Master Hand take the other half from Crazy Hand, causing him to dissolve in fire and destroying Master Hand due to the unholy power the complete Master Core wields.

Considering Uprising's tenancy to reference other Nintendo games, and we're not really told what happened to it after it attacked Pitoo, I wouldn't put it out of the question. Not one of my personalΒ theories, but it works.
