Description
"Oh, my dear. I didn't mean to imply that you have a choice. I will make you another in a long tradition of Worm Thralls, and take my time in studying you. Your very soul will be forfeit to me."
This started as a simple play on Mannimarco's title, a close-up of a gnarly skull and maybe a few maggots in the dirt. Apparently my hand had other ideas and now it's a Renaissance painting.
All hail the King of Worms, finally he joins them in the ground.

This was one of my first attempts to get back into painting and there is a lot I could improve, but the responses so far have been very encouraging and inspire me to keep at it. Thank you so much! The whole intention of the piece was to add worms and make it gnarly, but after all the work I got cold feet and almost didn't add them. I'm glad I went with it in the end, not too many people seem utterly horrified.

Why do I get the feeling that this kind of looks like King Leoric from the Diablo Series but in the Diablo III artwork? But anyways great artwork, it's very weird and creepy at the same time and boy do I love it? Yes, yes I do.
