"Writer" I'd consider the one who fleshes out the story with words and turns them into novels so others can enjoy them. Anyone can come up with a story, we all do when we're younger. How you share them with the rest of the world is what differs in the end.
Actually this comic went through many different drafts, and my boyfriend helped me a WHOLE LOT. I've still got the original version of this floating around somewhere, but it's so embarassing for me to look at. It's three years old (four by now, I think), the art sucks, and it's such a Sloth crushfest I can't believe I was ever proud of it. I've been considering uploading it once this comic is finished, but I don't think I could stand the shame.

I have actual stories like that too. I have even gone so far as to stop writing fanfiction type stories and delete many because I wrote them during this weird Childish phase I was going through after suffering some chemical brain damage. Now that this weird phase is over, I am thinking of much more mature stories.
