Description
Backstory time!While surfing around the internet, I stumbled into something called pop art. For those who don't know, pop art is a form of art which uses image from popular culture and advertisements. Among the major contributors of pop art was Roy Lichtenstein, an artist who imitates the style of printed comics in his art. Usually utilizing bold colors and dots for shading.
Being the explorer that I am, of course I tried this style of art and the subjects today are the Weather Trio! Had to go through trial and error a couple of times but the result was worth it. Though you may have to zoom in to see the comic book effect.
I personally think it's nice and if you do too, that fav button is just waiting by the side. SMASH IT AND LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK IN THE COMMENTS DOWN BELOW!!! I hope you don't take offense but in my opinion, the background doesn't work. I see your idea of pop art and your inspiration from Lichtenstein's work, but the lines on this one and Primal Kyogre's don't work. I find it too vivid and distracting.
It's only the background of these two pictures I have a slight problem with. All of your Pokemon characters and other pieces are really great. I applaud you for trying out all these different styles. I just don't think it works in this case.

I really appreciate you pointed that out. I got a bit lazy with Kyogre and Groudon's background. I really didn't quite choose the color's carefully at that time. I just took the eyedropper tool and picked the colors I used in the subject.
It was nice trying out new styles. I did learn a lot out from every experience. And I was more mindful of the background in the Reshiram and Zekrom fanart I've made.
Thanks for the critical opinion. Admittedly, I am a bit hurt whenever I hear something negative about my art. To put it simply, I've poured a lot of effort and creativity in each one of them. Of course, I try my best to be optimistic and consider criticism as advice. And thanks again for sharing your opinion, it helps me be open-minded.

Actually, my username was gonna be RogueShadow but it was already taken. RogueShadow is my username for other platforms like YouTube.
So I had to come up with a new username. I'm big science nerd so I used from quantum mechanics, Quark. Quarks are what make up protons and neutrons which make up atoms, which make up everything. (sorry for the science lesson)
I wanted a two or three syllable name so I added the word Blast. Why? Because it sounds cool!
Fun Fact: See those three orbs in my icon, those are quarks.
