Description My main idea for this fusion was the fact that Mewtwo, Lugia, and Ho-Oh shared the same stat total of 90/90/106/110/130/154. The other idea was from some fantastical role-play.

I went overboard with the wings again, didn't I? I was trying to get some wings that looked plausible enough to fly with--Ho-Oh's and Lugia's aren't that too much, but they came out quite grandiose.

Oh, yeah, the fusion's name is a mix of Lugia, Mewtwo, and Phoenix; not Ho-Oh, since, well, it doesn't work so well for a name when fused. XD

Mewtwo, Lugia, and Ho-Oh are characters that are copywritten to Nintendo.

Ho-Oh's other official spelling (Houou) could work for a naming. And nice somebody else catches the stat deal!

(and that doesn't stop at it; Rayquaza was quite Mewtwo-like in RuSa, while Groudon and Kyogre had clear Ho-Oh and Lugia influences...)

Well, those three have more of a mythological connection than the three I spliced. Dunno about how 'official' that other name is, though.

Yup, making actual trios seemed like a better option than having to go with a random legend for the third version. Houou is the official romanization of the Japanese name (ホォă‚Șォ), as well as the Chinese phoenix.

Eh, it's not English. I don't think random legends are meant to be trios. Ah, well.

I still don't get why they decided to spell it as Ho-Oh; it sounds the same way, but it just looks stupid. And Suicune being a version mascot was kind of an odd choice, but they didn't really have a different one...

Not sure if that's good or bad; I partially stylized it after Ho-Oh's/Lugia's wings.

I love your idea here, especially since you did some research on the concept before drawing it. I personally really like how you did the wings, the small details of the feathers look great and the 4 finger-like feathers at the end is a nice way to incorporate more of Lugia in them. Also, the Mewtwo color palette fits in nicely with the design.

Anyway, the only think I can say is that you could've mixed the body shapes a little differently; it looks a bit like a chicken right now. Maybe change the legs a bit so that they look less.. I want to say Blaziken-like because the overall body shape sorta reminds me of it, but the legs anren't that Blaziken-y. What do you think about making the legs digitigrade, like Mewtwo, but keeping the Ho-Oh claws?

Thank you. The color palette is actually a mix between Mewtwo's and Lugia's.

Hmm, Mewtwo and Lugia have relatively, ah, bulgy legs, hence my incorporation in them. I'm not sure if it'd look anatomically proper if the toes were digitigrade.

But thank you for the comment and criticism. Very much appreciated.
