Buuuut, I think Miku here is more the centre of attention than the grass. She looks heaps nice, although I honestly didn't expect anything less from Qururu-sama. owo

After doing a bit of research, I've found that 31 could possibly represent the Independence Day/Merdeka Day/Hari Merdeka, as it was on the 31st of August, but the fight for that was in 1957... and there is no sign of that in the title. Sure, there is the 1 and 9, but... I don't think that's a good evidence for that.
But, according to Wikipedia ([link] ), it begun at 9:30 AM, and both 9 (at the right end of the title) and 30 (at the left end of the title) are present, which bring up hopes that Qururu-sama might have drawn the picture for Hari Merdeka. The third '3' would be the number Qururu-sama referred to when he said that not all numbers represent dates.
Another thing that caught my attention was the "Hari Raya Puasa", also happening on the 31st - but also 30th of August. That'd bring sense to the 30 and 31 in the title, and I suppose that also for the "Raya Miku" in the artist's comment. owo
I could be wrong though; I see that there are many more "raya" in the article...
Anyways, I have one last theory too; the celebration of Kongsi Raya, which means "sharing the celebration" and is celebrated when the Chinese New Year and Hari Raya Puasa happen at the same time. But since the Chinese New Year is long gone and there is no evidence whatsoever to prove this theory, I don't think this is the correct one.
My guess is the Merdeka day. owo;

I think it's related to whichever calendar you're using in Malaysia. I suppose it symbolizes the year when it was celebrated the first time? owo;
