Description
A dragon costume design/idea for meeeeeeeIt would be fully scaled, made of rubber, so we'll see if it happens. It may not work, but if it does, that would be so rad.

I wanted to commish a suit for so long, but I was delaying it because I thought that you only made fursuits.
My avatar have hair and a "haired tail" like your design, so... I'm curious about these parts in special, for real XD

*nods* non-fur critters have been high on my to do list, but they pose a special material challenge, so the going has been slow.

Oh yes, i have another question. The suit will be made of rubber so... how will that affect skin's transpiration?

Well, obviously the rubber does not breathe at all. From what I've read of people who have made and worn rubber suits, it gets sweaty inside, but because the rubber is so thin, it actually doesn't insulate. So the temperature inside is not too bad.
I'll have to see for myself, of course. If I disagree with the rubber suit enthusiasts, I have some rough plans for a simple cooling/venting system.

I'm working on a colored version. It's digital, so outside of my immediate comfort realm, but it shouldn't suck too bad.

Oh gosh that is beautiful! How exactly do you plan on making the rubber skin? That must be a difficult process?

It's going to be ridiculous.
The way it's done in the film industry and whatnot is to make a complete sculpt over a full-body cast, and then make a giant mold and cast it.
In order to avoid the massive horror that is that process, I'm going to experiment with constructing it in flat panels, and hope it doesn't all go to hell. I have a backup plan that might also go to hell, so yay!

Ridiculous, hah indeed! I was thinking of a body sculpture at first, but that amount of work seems utterly ridiculous, unless you work in the industry I suppose. I can imagine the panels working out, attached to a base suit of some sort? Any way you chose I hope you'll provide some photos along the way, cause it does sound like a suit of awesome!
