Description Some males exceed 250 kg (550 lb) in weight, it is the second-largest living cat after the tiger. Wild lions currently exist in Sub-Saharan Africa and in Asia with a critically endangered remnant population in northwest India, having disappeared from North Africa, the Middle East, and Western Asia in historic times. Until the late Pleistocene, which was about 10,000 years ago, the lion was the most widespread large land mammal after humans. They were found in most of Africa, much of Eurasia from western Europe to India, and in the Americas from the Yukon to Peru.

This is taken through a glass window? You could never guess if you hadn't told us! It is such a clear capture!
I love it to bits!
It feels like you are sitting right next to him! Now THAT would be an amazing (last) feeling! I would die so happy

thank you yes through glass it was dirty I had to clean it with a tissue and I was so worried that all the pictures I took would have to be trashed, but some of them turned out, it was such a relief!

If it wasn't for the glass he was right next to me, to be so close to such a magnificent cat is a humbling experience indeed! One day, one day... save all those coins and then you come and visit me I'll share it all with you

I think it is a great picture! I could never guess there was a dirty glass window. But I am happy there was Because if there were not glass maybe you had ended up as dinner!
You really must feel small and helpless when standing so close to something that magnificent!
I really hope I can one day! That would be a real dream come true

Show you how over the years how animals have an amazing way of adapting to new environments it's such a pity that because of development they no longer have the land to roam and move freely like they used to...

This one truly was a beauty
