That's actually precisely what the head was inspired by, glad someone noticed, haha. Looking back I could've done a better job at conveying it, but oh well, it's been a few years.

I don't know what this is from. What this will be in - but immediately I heard, "This world belongs to Chaos, now! To Chaos!" from the Chaos Space Marines from DoW II. I'm probably the only one to do so. xD

brilliant, but isnt the DW V thing meant to be more seriously looking bad guys the face seems to make him look cute instead of bad ass

Well, like I said above, the smiley face is the polycount.com emblem, many people used it on their models, to show which team they were on in this contest.

Ah the green smiley is actually the polycount.com icon, all the polycount entries for this contest had it.
I don't remember how long it took, it's been a while... a few weeks on and off, probably.
