New Coke did NOT taste like ass. It was nothing more than Diet Coke's formula that used real sugar instead of artificial sweetener. In taste tests it was very well received and preferred to both Original Coke and Pepsi. It wasn't until Coca-Cola Co. announced they were going to remove the original formula from the market completely, did everyone throw a shit fit and decided that New Coke was bad.
The idiots in this country can't stand change, I'd expect nothing less from a country that shot at roadsigns that displayed speed limits in KPH despite the metric system being an easy-to-use measuring system based in REALITY.
