You know that feeling you get, when you're walking alone somewhere at night? It's like someone is following you, but when you turn around you see no one. Well, this is the guy who follows you, you just don't look up. But don't worry, he's on his way to work.This is my little "I follow on my way" guy. He's rather cute. Major influence on this piece would have to be the artist for Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark books. I always adored his drawings. Anyhoot, remember the one about the big skull head? Yeah, this is my version (sort of).
He's bottom jaw is missing, but he has a floppy decaying tongue! No worries though, the salvia is only borrowed.

i recognized the skull dude because i HAVE those books! i adore them! anywithel, now everytime i get the feeling someone is following me i look up. if i ever see him floating above me 'on his way to work' i'll probably pass out and pee on myself at the same time. great drawing, in spite of it. creepy as sin, tho.

I went to new mexico for christmas, the floors were all brick and my bedroom was huge. I went through the closet one day and found /every/ one of those books plus some edgar allen poe stories. I read every story over and over again it was so much fun sitting near the closet and the window on a small wooden chair, my toes curled around the edge of it because the brick was too cold. This picture gives me such a wonderful flash back.

Ohhhhh, shit, hahahahahahaha! I just read your description, and it was influenced by Stephen Gammel! Awesome! I love his art too. I have a HUGE poster of the cover of "S.S.T.T.I.T.D 2". You did a fantastic job. He is creepy. I drew a piece just recently called "THE PASTOR" and that was influenced by his art too. How one hand would be a regular hand, and the other one would be a claw, and that was why it was so creepy, it was like he was human, but not quite.
