Description I shall concern myself
with neither
the past nor the future
right now:

The past culminates in the present,
and the present is the gateway to the future:

I'm going to learn and anticipate,
but, most of all,
I'm going to live
right now.

I think this is a haiku. Though not in the strictest sense. Most things in Tao are titled, the Tao of ___.
As far as content it is simple and precise. However it is without imagery in the descriptive sense this is a departure from the definition of haiku.

The lack of imagery causes the words themselves to become your images. I don't know alot of Chinese but it would be interesting to know if the form of this work (regarding words as black line and white space as page) would form a Chinese character (letter).
This is referred to in some artistic literature as "poem as image."
Simple straightforward. Good.

Thank you for taking the time to read and respond to this. The reason I named it "Live Tao" was that it was a play on "Live now" but I felt it also expressed the notion that the Tao is not something that can be grasped, it must be experienced.

I appreciate very greatly your feedback and earnest critique. Thank you!
