Description A clock made of recycled CDs. This was for the art gallery at my school called Reuse, Recycle, Re-CREATE. This was around April. I started and finished this piece the day before the gallery, because I had thought I would not be able to put a piece in because of school projects. I accepted the challenge, and I was very close to winning the the contest by spectators' votes, however my friend won instead.

And yes, this is a fully functional clock. I took the clock pieces off from an old bird clock and also taking out the noise: [link]

Here is the video to show that it works: [link]

^ In the video, the clock may be slightly different due to the fact of bad glue. Four days after the gallery, the front piece broke off. >_>;

Yayy! Thanks! People have been wanting to buy that clock left and right when they first saw it. I am thinking about it though. Main problem is is that since I break it instead of cutting it, the metallic data on the CD tends to peel off... and when I use hot glue on it, it messes it up even more. Maybe I should stick with epoxy all the way.

Haha I don't doubt it - it is wicked fantastic! Hmm sounds like it's got a few challenges in the making, but I have no doubt if anyone could perfect it, it would be you! I really think this looks amazing though!
