Just a little encouragement to those who have their OC rejected or hated on. You're free to make the changes you feel necessary, but remember, It's your OC, not theirs. As long as your character makes you happy, thats all that matters. Who cares if your OC isn't popular? The better of not becoming a target for art and character thieves. You must love you

That description made me smile. :3 I once got a hate comment saying I shouldn't make my oc related to a canon character, but I said to myself that I decide what I want my oc to be related to, not based on comments.

Exactly. And when people get made at others because they made their OC an Alicorn. Like seriously. How are we going to make an original character when people limit us?

Well there are good and bad limits on things. Good limits help us grow stronger more creative ideas. Bad limits just tear you down right there on the spot. IE: I just can't bring myself to create an Alicorn OC. They are too powerful. However when I create say a Unicorn OC I made him Mute, and his magic doesn't have a color, but he did end up quite powerful.

Well, when I usually make Alicorn oc's they usually have Limited power, and live in seperate dimensions
(Not like Mary/Gary-Sues who fucked the Alicorn's reputation), and they aren't friends with the canons because they live in seperate dimentions. xD
