Description
My favourite Tekken series character...
Due to the lack of good reference images on the internet I had to basically paint the character from scratch.

After Tekken 5 Yoshimitsu's design started to get rather boring and forgettable. No wonder he's not as popular as he used to be. :/

I think after TEKKEN TAG 2 wasΒ released, Kunimitsu stole his spotlight. But for me that's a good thing! I prefer Kunimitsu over Yoshimitsu.

Actually, you need to know well the anatomy of the human body in order to draw "correct" poses like this one.
It all starts with an anatomically accurate sketch. Then you build the figure upon it.
The trickier parts of the human body however are the hands.
I'm quite proud of this one 'cause I figured out how to draw the hand without reference...

Hehe, actually I had to draw the pose and the figure from scratch, since I could find only a bunch of crappy photos of the action figure from the internet and a decent picture of the mask from the action figure box.
Luckily one photo was from the back, so I could see some of the details on the back of the armor (rather than guessing).
It would have been much easier if I had the action figure in my hands...

Ah, have to play that one again i guess, it was the least played Tekken by me and Yoshi's "Insect" design there (p1) made me never using him there. I still like his first 6 designs the most
