Has anyone told you this isometric perspective makes it feel almost like a scenerio for a video-game? Cuz it kinda does! And I think that rocks!
Usually I don't like overusage of blues, I'm a black-gold-combo kinda guy, but I like this. Very nicely detailed, has a very Serious esthetic while maintaining some lighter "cartoon-ish" feel.

It's indeed a game map 
and for that sake , we have to use many kind of color set in each map to show a topic .
There are so much color combination we have to study , I think we can use many any kind of color beautiful if we study them
Black-Gold style is cool and elegant evil in some works , I love them ,too
