Description Just as the title says, this is more random turtle art!  The picture on the left is young Splinter with a toddler Raphael. They and the other turtles lived peaceful lives with Tang Shen and her father, the lead scientist of TCRI up until the turtles turned 5 years old. But TCRI is dealing with some nefarious clients and when a deal goes sour, their lives are irrevocably changed forever.

The picture on the right is an OC (gasp) his name is Renato and is the "technical" son of April O'Neil and Leonardo. He is actually a clone, one of several dozens grown in a laboratory. Renato exists in a bad future. A time line where in the turtles either died or disappeared, unable to stop a malevolent alien force from taking over the earth.

His shell is divided into 4 plates. Basically this is part of his human dna trying to make compromises with the shell. Giving him a little more flexibility. Think an Ankylosaurus's plated armor.

Renato is the child of Leonardo and April O’Neal but they were never aware of him since he was created in a lab using their DNA. A scientist (either Chaplin or Stockman) was performing experiments on the possibilities of hybridization right before the world ended. Years later, the world is still in shambled chaos, the first Renato clone wakes up to a very forlorn and soon to be hostile situation.  His only companion, the laboratory’s back up life support system with instructions for him to go out and find out whats happened to the outside world, and more importantly find the cause.

Unfortunately everything is pretty messed up and dangerous, so poor Renato tends to die. Luckily for him he’s got backups of himself waiting to take over where he left off, with all the memories of his previous clone to help him overcome obstacles.

The name Renato is a boy’s name of Spanish, Italian origin meaning “reborn”.  His headband is my attempt at fusing together the design of the Japanese flag with New York’s state colors. Not sure how I feel about it. Eh, I’ll probably change it.
