That is some incredible detail. I love how you broke up the monotony in that rope with bits of colour and the excellent value usage. That contrasted against the ...metal..thing... brings out the depth of colour and excellent complements in the painting, and I really like the colouring style on the orangish object there.
Sorry I can't ever identify your sea objects, perhaps the kansas residence is a communication barrier

no - they are Faber Castell polychromos, special colored pencils for graphic design. And thank you for the comment !

thanks a lot - I have been trying this out lately, inspired by airbrush work which my husband the gunman does. There you do a detailed drawing in pencil and then brush over it. I thought what works for him could work for me - and we all see it does !

thanks for the comment - I havenΒ΄t done much lately due to the heatwave weΒ΄ve had (over 100Β° for about six weeks), so I didnΒ΄t feel much like doing anything at all.
