WOW! That is soooo pretty! I like her! (Yes stalking your own gallery is normal, I do it myself all the time. <^^>) I think I just might add a critique! ...If I could actually write one.. So, I'll write one for you here! (This is my first time attempting a critique, so take it all with a grain of salt. <^^>)
First the pros! (You already know my personal opinion.)
The shading is extremely detailed and well, but it DOESN'T take away from the picture in its entirety. Shading of this extremity usually is distracting, but you've done it in such a way that is adding, instead of subtracting from the picture.
The eyes are very detailed, and are obviously the focal point of the picture. The slight glow is a nice touch of contrast.
I also like the angle of the head, it is very well done to create a 'deranged', unrealistic, surreal effect on the viewer.
Okay, I love the floor! It's just plain old pretty!
Finally, (because I can't think of anything else to add,) I really like how the cat is deathly thin. Each of the ribs is clearly seen, and she is FAR too small for her size.
Now the Cons. (GRAIN OF SALT. But I'm trying to help you improve on your awesomeness, so I'm very detailed here.)
First off- the forepaws. I realize that you were attempting to get a 'fleshy' look, but the lines. I would have liked it much better had you just left it one solid color with shading, as the differently colored lines distract from the picture. One thing to note, had these lines gone PAST the fur (each line stops just below/above the furline) if it had appeared that the lines went UNDER the fur, they would seem much more natural and less distracting.
Secondly, the paws. This is one mistake a lot of cat artists make, and that I made as well. Now, this may be perspective, but one thing I'd like to point out is the # of toes on each paw. All cats, (with a few genetic exceptions) have FIVE toes on each forepaw, (four 'fingers' and one dew claw,) and four toes on each hind leg. (Just the four 'fingers' ((for lack of a better word))) Almost every cat artist I know only puts four toes on the forepaws, and three on the hind-or did anyways.
Although I like the simplicity of the background, I feel it could have been 'fleshed out' a bit more. Right now, the 'wall' kinda looks like a rushed sketch. Maybe that was intended, maybe not? I dunno. However I feel that if you had done the 'wall' in the same style as the floor it would have improved the picture that much more.
And finally, (YAY!No more cons!) this I'm pretty sure is accidental, but the patch of shading right below that too-thin stomach makes it look a lot thicker, and takes away from that dis-proportioned body and the starved effect it creates.
OVERALL: My rating, (as I had to LOOK for cons other than that forepaw thing) 4 1/2 out of 5. <^^> I can't help it, I'm completely biased and I love the pic? What can I say!? You're art is awesome!
Hope this helps, -feline👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Thanks! Somehow the sketch for this one came out really well and it was laying around my computer for quite a while waiting for me to get the motivation to actually finish it. So I sat down this morning and decided I'd finish it today, AND EVEN THOUGH IT TOOK ALL DAY, I DID~
XDD I actually do it to remember my random techniques and such, plus I enjoy looking at my pictures a lot, they tend to be things I'm happy with~ (except the old stuff....... yeahhhh)
Animation? c8 itssofun. BUT SO HARD ;A; I dont know why I torture myself by continuing to try, the frustration is worth it in the end though, I still go back and watch my animations, just not as frequently as when I stalk my gallery xDD

Ya it's difficult to say the least.
And ya don't you love that kind of determination? When you KEEP AT IT even though you might be in pain...
Check out this guys two tutorials, it's really basic animation stuff but very clear and helpful.

Wow 8o I just spent a while stalking that |D *adds it to her bookmarks* c8 if we're sharing tutorials, I found a really epic drawing one a while back, I have yet to read through the intire thing because its really long, but I've gone through sections randomly. [link] Its missing some stuff,(like, incomplete sections) but it covers LIKE EVERYTHING.'

WOW that is good, my parents paid a lot of money for me to take a class to learn all that. XD I skimmed it but i'll sure to read the whole thing! and I'm glad you like the animation tutorials, they are really good- I thought key frames where something only used in Flash before. Derp.

I don't think I'm doing it right either to be honest xDDDD but I take a new layer, color the whole thing a shading color, lock the layer, and then use the lasso tool to scribble small areas where I would put highlights. then I take another layer, color it with the same shading color just slightly darker, then do the same eraser thing just with bigger areas and at the eraser at like 50% opacity. Itshard.

I keep looking at tutorials that are telling me to put every individual color on a separate layer then locking it and using a darker color to shade and highlight things. And then there's something about a clipping layer and a gradient and blahblahblah...
BASICALLY I DON'T GET IT >:T
