Characters were drawn for my brother's t-shirt (shhh... it's a secret to him) but I extended whole drawing with background, so I could upload it on dA as well.
I would kill to see some more The Wind Waker official art, but it's impossible, so I have decided to try by myself.

Might I say when I first saw this that I was amazed. This is an incredible piece of fan art for one of the best games in the Zelda series.
The first thing I noticed was that your line work, colors, and shading all look strikingly similar to the artwork produced by the game's team, and the game itself while remaining an original concept that you yourself thought of. The lines are more exaggerated and rough around areas where more motion is taking place. The colors and shading look painted, and similar to the cel-shaded style of the game. The overall effect makes one think that it was produced by the game's official artists.
The piece in its entirety, while small, contains several different elements that would instantly remind any fan of Windwaker of the Forbidden Woods.
I have no real criticisms about this piece in any way. It is original but stays true to the style of Windwaker so closely that one would think of it as official artwork. Excellent job!

Wow. You made this?? It looks so real, and the backgrounds are incredible. You managed to get the colors and shading perfectly, and honestly it really resembles the vines in the game. Please please please do more like this.

You just need to desaturate the texture, scale it as you like, set opacity around 70% and layer mode as hard light. Colors should be on lower layer and lineart above it.
