Background: Born and raised in Oʻahu, Hawaii, Hoshiri had a peaceful yet, boring childhood. To past the time she usually goes out and help anyone in need such as helping an elderly citizen walk across the street or during her free time, she would explore the neighborhood or just stay home and read comic books.

At the age four, she finally finds out that there are heroes in real-life and wants to become a hero someday.A year after she finally gained her quirk a week after her birthday. Both her hands were to sore for a month due to the jewel growing out from the back of her hands as well the silver-like material

At the ages of seven to twelve Hoshiri had joined an early Kajukenbo and Kapu Ku’ialua class, knowingly she can always rely on her quirk. A few years later at the age fourteen her mother Maria has decided to move to Japan to live a new life like they had before. So, they both moved to Japan to live with her father, who she never meets before and start a new life as a hero. Now she's a student at U.A. High school, while her parents focusing on their careers.

She can augment the effectiveness of her blast by surrounding her hands in energy, and she can also use this method to weld or carefully burn through obstacles with contact from her hands. She can unleash all her stored heat energy into a pseudo blast. It is suggested to be as hot as the sun itself and able to absorb heat energy from explosions and the sun. So pretty much anything heat related and explosions she can use for energy.

Energy Absorption: She can also absorb the ultraviolet radiation from the sun or any other life forms heat. She once used this application of her power to weaken a group otherwise require ultraviolet radiation to maintain her abilities.

Ultimate Move:

Spiral pseudo Strike: This move hit and collect environmental energy, which is converted into Spiral Energy. Attacking enemies with skills accumulates Spiral Energy.

Supernova: When she released all her energy at once it can reach up to 20x times more longer than a football field. The down side of this move might end up killing her in the process. If she survives it's take up to 2-3 days for her to heal. So, this move is her last resort.

How they first met is when Tenya asked her to remove the 'Piercing' on her lip but, she openly admit to him it's her birthmark. She usually ignore his demands.

Shoto Todoroki: Hoshiri sees Shoto as an equal, due to having one thing in common of both not having good relationship with their own fathers and having heat based quirks. After, the sports festival she hangs with Shoto time to time.
