Feel like I needed to say this.....Okay kiddies, just because you grew up with mommy and daddy as a Christian does NOT mean that you HAVE to stay a Christian..... I should know because my mom is a Christian (not sure 'bout my dad), and I have made the choice as an independent mind to be agnostic. I want proof he is there before I can full accept God into my heart. Flamers will be ignored.(not blocked because blocks are for cowards in my opinion.....)

I agree with you. My whole family is Christian, but I'm agnostic as well. I don't plan on telling them, though. Ever.

I still have yet to tell my mom.
I told my dad a few years back because he borders on the agnostic/atheist line. He was cool with it...
My mom I'm not so sure...
She's always had this saying that 'God never gives you more than you can handle.' so I don't plan on telling her anytime soon.

There is a lot more to the story, but the truth is I am a very good man.

Rude is beside the word. Her mother is over protective. Please keep this to yuourself, the girl in question has a serious problem. The first night we were together, she 'carved' a 'J' into her arm. I don't know if it was because she loved me or because she couldn't have me. That same night, her father made me feel how Shinedown felt, "...Staring down the barrell of a .45..." IDK she is very beautiful, and maybe I am the same way. I may have felt that I could not have her, so I must have her. I have made her my 'obsession' in life. Sucks cause my heart can only take so much, death is a ll I see in my own future. -sad faces as I move the screen down to post this message-

It took me sooo long to realise this, I found one gaping flaw in the whole idea of the Christian God and I decided no one could really say anything for sure.
My mother is incredibly stern about religion (she is ALWAYS right, you see? 
I still haven't told her about me being agnostic, though fortunately the community here is pretty tolerant.

Technically, if everything most religions say is true, then they're all going to 'Hell'. Since, after all, they're unaccepting and cruel to others of different faiths (or for me, lack of faith).
