My sister and my cat both asleep on my couch. He sat in my lap as I colored this.Sometimes I feel guilty for not using actual paints. I really miss it. Nothing smells better than oils and turp. But Photoshop is just so convenient. And less messy. And also I can't really afford any good brushes right now... It's weird how these digital tools help us so. Any hack with Photoshop and a camera can be talented nowadays. That's why though I like this picture, I'm not horrendously proud of it. I spent a few hours on it. Got no stains on my clothes or paint in my hair. Just a sore bum and squinting eyes. I can't even hang it on the wall.

Oh, and I agree with you about Photoshop. I too am a CG addict, but I still try to fill up my sketchook. I like being able to take my art with me wherever I go. It's not as if I can bring a computer around to show everyone my work or print it out.

The texture is nearly photographic, yet the lines give it the subtle feel of a drawing. Very, very nice.
