It's difficult to draw animals in general, so a little cutie like this one is a really nice sight to see. The brown in the nose gives it just a bit of colour -nice when the majority should be black and white like it is here.
The eyes are what really pulls the viewer in, though. They eyes and (for me at least) the whiskers.
The whole piece is simple, but nice to look at. With all the digital mumbo jumbo pictures that are everywhere (they do look nice, don't get me wrong) it's just refreshing to see something so simple and hand drawn.

Thank you for taking the time to write a critique, much appreciated. I do often focus on the eyes as I feel that it is in them that I can try to inject the life into the subject of my art
