Thank you so freakin' much I can't express it. I've been having a bit of rough patches lately and I have a bit of confidence issues so this makes me feel so good.
That is something that I need to hold on to. That art can make people happy. That art can make friends. That art can express great emotions.
Though I will say again, while I love doing the cute and happy art best, if I feel like drawing something sad once in awhile to express myself, I can. I am allowed.
But anyway, thank you very, very much. This perked me up.

(Also, on a related note, have you watched Soul Eater and FMA dubbed before? I can't unhear Alphonse when Crona talks, as it's the same voice actor that played Al in Brotherhood.)

Why is her blood black? Because that really doesn't sound healthy. I would probably be freaked out too if I my blood was suddenly black. And she looks very freaked out. If that was what you were going for, you did a great job.

Well then. That looks...interesting. Very interesting. A substance that makes people crazy while giving them great power so they don't hesitate to use said power. I can see an anime being made around that.

One thing's for sure, Soul Eater has one of the most interesting premises I've seen in anime. Though it's made by Studio Bones, who did Fullmetal Alchemist, so they know what their doing. But on top of the black blood stuff, the main concept of the series is that it takes place in a world where some people can turn into weapons. Literally. Like turn into a scythe or a sword or a gun. But their of course completely immobile. They can speak in that form but that's about it. So they need a weapon miser to use them if they want to fight. It creates this great symbiotic relationship where both people need each other. It makes for excellent characterization and relationship development.

I did see a little about that through the links and stuff. Because whenever you see a link with a cool name you have to click it. And it sounds really cool. I'd probably enjoy watching it a lot. So I'll put it on my list of animes I need to watch but might never get around to. It's a rather lengthy list unfortunately. I wonder what it feels like to be a weapon. What nerves correspond to the handle part? Does it feel like someone is always holding your hand?

I think it probably does. On multiple occasions it shows Soul and Maka running up to each other, Maka grabbing Soul's hand/arm and then a flash of light as Soul turns into a scythe. And don't feel bad because I haven't even finished the series myself. It's 3 seasons I think and I've made it to like, the second or third episode of the second season. It's hard to find time to watch a show at times.

Still. I haven't gotten around to a LOT of anime, and I have plenty of time for it if I get up the motivation to do it. Also, it must feel really weird to be a different shape. I can't imagine what it would feel like to have say, your leg slice someone in half.

I'm sort of the same way. I don't have THAT huge of a backlog but I have plenty of time to watch stuff. It's just know that I can't do anything like that unless I know I'm going to be free for the next few hours. Since I tend to get sucked in. Whether its watching a show, playing a game, drawing, I can't seem to just do them for a short time.
Yeah, I wonder what that feels like? That's an interesting thought.

There's also the fact that I tend to not watch things by myself. I pretty much never watch something unless someone else is watching it, and most of the people here who watch anime have already seen the popular animes like full metal alchemist. But whatever. I'm sure I'll see it sometime.
