Description Probably the last picture that I took back home before coming to study to the UK

It's spring in my country and today is Mother's Day there too.  I'm having a great time here, but it sure would be nice to be home today.  Just for an afternoon; have tea with my mom, give her a big kiss, get a bit of sunshine, enjoy the nice weather and then come back here to keep on studying what I love.

I just remembered that my mom actually came along with a walk with me when I took this particular photo.  It was the last weekend I spent home before leaving, so I guess this is the perfect photo to submit today.

This is like the third time that I've submitted a photo of this particular tree.  Magnolias are my favourite flowers, so there really is no stopping me from wanting to photograph this tree every single spring  And it's also interesting to see how my style has changed since I first started with photography.  I'll include thumbnails of the previous photos in case anyone else wants to see the changes:

This is beautiful The way the light is hitting the flowers turns them into little bursts of pink

hahah sí Igual las flores de la magnolia son bien grandes, como del tamaño de un pomelo por lo menos.  Los cerezos también son parecidos, pero con flores más chicas

Muchísimas gracias por el cumplido, me alegra que te guste

I love this tree and its flowers. This picture is really pretty and fresh looking and cheerful.

how interesting: mother's day is in May in the West, it's in March in the Arab world, and it's in October in your country
