I think this may be my first micro

This is Noah the pocket mer. He's a tiny jellyfish merman. He has limited mobility and just kind of floats wherever the current takes him, but when he finds a human he trusts he'll crawl up on their finger and wrap his tentacles around them, clinging to their skin for warmth. He enjoys hitch hiking in people's pockets, but needs to take a dip every few hours to moisten up. He holds moisture pretty well for being part jellyfish, and though he absorbs most nutrients through his very thin tail skin as some jellyfish do, he also feeds off algae and plankton whenever he wants a snack. Noah is very easygoing, and doesn't have much of an opinion on things. His priority is survival and he enjoys the comfort and protection of humans and other larger, trustworthy creatures. His species is plentiful but rarely seen since they live in deep, dark parts of the ocean, and they usually only live a few years before being eaten by predators. His tentacles are powerful enough to ward off smaller aquatic predators but only tingle lightly on human skin before the nerves become adjusted to the sensation. His fingers are thick and pointed, slightly different than human hands. He also has bio-luminescence, and chemicals in his skin and some of his nerves illuminate a stripe down his back and through the center of his tail. His eyes are the same cyan color as these lights, and also glow. His hair is steel blue and his tail and back are various shades of purples and blues.
