I've wanted to try Hai in something other than cartoonish for a while now... *sigh.* Didn't succeed.
I don't own Avatar the Last Airbender but I do own General Hai.

His face looks very realistic. But it seems like the top part of his head is a bit too small, seing as the eyes usually are on the middle of the head.

Love the coloring, on his face, and on the ground. The yellow a bit too yellow.
The blood coming from the scar... Is it symbolizing why he is down there? That whatever caused it, brought him to go down there, so it opens to show it's not healed and never will be?
(I don't know everything, i dunno if you've written why he's got the scar.)

Wow, Cherry, this is amazing! My favorite part is Hai's face. I like how his hair and the blood from his cut are floating off into the water. It makes it really believable. It's kind of frightening in a way, since Hai wants to die and everything... anyways, great picture.
