So, in the uk, today is Mother’s Day, and while the rest of the world is busy freaking out over the recent Mario Movie 2 announcement (same guys, same) I thought it would be more fitting to upload some Mother’s Day art to celebrate that special occasion first.

Now offline, I’ve been workshopping some next gen kiddos for my Helluva Boss Oc ships; like Primary Poly (Lydia X Fizzarolli X Asmodeus), Love Shark (Cupid X Chazwhick Thurman) and StolKat (Prince Stolas Goetia and my Self Insert Impsona). But so far I’ve finished the design for the StolKat next gen. So, I wanted to draw something between my kiddo and my impsona; but not wanting to rip off other artists who drew their helluva/hazbin OC holding their babies; I decided to use this to draw the whole new Goetia family and show the different types of mums out there ^^

Bio mums
Obviously, what most people think of when it comes to Mother’s Day is of course the mothers, grandmas, Nannie’s, etc. People part of your bloodline. They put their bodies and sometimes their own lives to bring people into the world and so this day should be celebrated. So for this aspect, we have the little baby of the family; Little Prince Altair, but I’ll be saving him for later, he’s still in the ugly baby stage after all.

Mother Figures
And while mother figures refer to non related women who take on the role of mother to a person who doesn’t have a “real” mum, I’m using this to refer to the body mother’s end up getting as a result from pregnancy, with baby fat and stretch marks; which to me aren’t ugly in the slightest, despite how ironically society pushes for women to get pregnant but find them not worthy of love afterwards. So to celebrate the mom bods everywhere, I drew my impsona with a bit more fat on her arms (although her overthrow shirt covers it) and a few stretch marks on her belly.

Step-mums
Despite their less than positive reputation thanks to fairy tales and movies, I feel like the majority of step mothers are just as valid as bio mums. Love and family shouldn’t be limited to DNA; after all, “Blood of the Covenant is thicker than the water of the womb”. And for this relationship dynamic, we have Octavia who would be my impsona’s step daughter. Although a bit weirded out by having a much smaller mother figure in her life; seeing how much Impsona makes her dad happy and feeling genuine motherly love for the first time, Octavia grows to love my impsona like a mum.

Hot mums
This is kind of a joke option, but guys or bi/gay women can find older ladies or MILFs attractive; so I had to include something. And therefore, here’s Stolas who playfully calls my impsona milf or mommy during…ya know. Plus Stolas still finds my thicc bod hot after becoming a mum.

It’s ok to cut off
But you may have noticed that Stolas and Octavia aren’t wearing their crown hats; well that’s cause it’s a metaphor for cutting off their rich abuser known as Stella. I still wanted to acknowledge that some mothers are horrible, horrifying and horrific monsters that don’t deserve any acknowledgement. That it’s completely fair to cut off horrible women even if they gave birth to you; especially for your mental health. So while Stolas had a easier time cutting off Stella, Octavia took some time cause she was never Stella’s victim of abuse; but after finding out what she did to Stolas, especially setting a assassin on him, Octavia cut her off.
